Dear Members,
The Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Southern California has been a leading Japanese Organization in the Los Angeles area since its inception in 1949, serving the Japanese community in the area of business development, cultural preservation and social services. Throughout the year, we have programs and events to cover these area such as Business Seminars, Town Hall Meetings, Oshogatsu (Japanese New Year Celebration) in Little Tokyo, Exchange Student Program, Scholarship Program and the Year-End Charity Drive, just to name a few.
I encourage you to get involved with our chamber by attending our events, which provide members with great networking opportunities. We also welcome your involvement by joining a committee or two. Select a committee or a specific program that you have an interest in or have expertise or resources to contribute to. Your efforts will help the chamber, your business and the community. Networking opportunities in Japan have increased dramatically by linking our chamber with chambers of commerce in every city in Japan since the beginning of 2003.
We would also like to encourage member-to-member business activity in hopes that all members will find their involvement with our organization more fruitful. We often invite new members to join a Board of Director meeting which provides them the opportunity to promote their product or service and to meet our Board members.
We are committed to give quality membership services to make your investment pay off handsomely. To ensure this, your suggestions and comments are welcome.
Thank you for your support of the Chamber. I look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
Tatsuhiko Wakao |
