Japan's Maritime Self-Defense training Ship Welcome Reception
Japan's Maritime Self-Defense training convoy visited San Diego again this year after 158 days of voyage. On May 9th, a joint welcome reception was held on board with representatives from US Navy and other visiting fleets from other countries. JCC representatives along with Kenjinkai-Kyogikai, OCJAA. and Kaiyo Konshinkai were invited to the reception. After official exchange of plaques, Mr. Wakao encouraged them to continue their training to secure the Japan's national security and to be the leaders in the Maritime Self-Defence force. They will visit Panama, Brazil, England, France, Egypt and Singapore after leaving San Diego and scheduled to arrive in Japan on September 18th.
