JCC Seminar “behind the scenes” with the East West Players
East West Players (EWP)is the nation’s premier Asian American theatre organization, who has been in our community for many many years!
Let's visit EWP and go “behind the scenes” with the East West Players. Meet Artistic Director, Tim Dang, and a member or two of the famed EWP. You’ll have a chance to tour the theater and learn about the history and the “ins and outs” of the theater and its actors. How does a theater select its future season? What goes on from the beginning of a run to its end? In fact, what happens during a single performance? What about the finances of a theater? What effect does a local economy have on the arts?
